When you arrive on a page that asks for your credit card information, start the SmartSwipe process by clicking on the SmartSwipe button on your toolbar (see Figure 1). Â

After you click the button, SmartSwipe will assess that page's security and give you a message if the page is not considered safe enough for your credit card information.  If you do not get a message, the swipe your credit card screen displays and you can swipe your credit card through the card reader!
