Regular Safecheckout is the easiest way to complete a Safecheckout transaction. Regular SafeCheckout only starts when a web payment page is already in our database. When this happens, you will notice two things. First, the SmartSwipe dropdown will change so that it reads "SafeCheckout has been enabled to protect this sensitive information. Please do not try to type in your card information." (see the image at the top) Second, important boxes on the payment page will change. A lock icon and (sometimes) the word 'protected' will appear within the box (see Figure 1) To complete a transaction with Regular SafeCheckout, follow these easy steps: - Make sure that all sensitive credit card fields are protected. If not, consult the article entitled "Regular Safecheckout started, but not all of the Credit Card Boxes are Protected".
- Fill in any additional, required information on the payment page. For example, some payment pages want you to verify your shipping address, or click a box to accept that site's terms of service.
- Press 'submit' (or whatever else that particular site chooses to call the 'submit' button). The protected icons (see Figure 1) mean that you do not have to type the information into those boxes. SmartSwipe will enter that information for you.
- Navigate to the confirmation page. Make sure everything is correct and print out a copy for your records!
Congratulations - you have completed a SmartSwipe transaction! | |
