When you click the SmartSwipe button, the Swipe Your Credit Card screen appears.  Follow these guidelines to successfully swipe your card:

a. Look at your credit card reader - the blue lights should be dancing.  If they are not dancing, try unplugging the credit card reader then plugging it back in. Â

b. Swipe your credit card - make sure that the magnetic strip is down and facing towards the word SmartSwipe.

c. After you swipe your card, you may be asked to enter that card's CVC number.  The CVC is the three (or four) digits that usually appear on the back of your credit card. Â

d. Once all of the credit card information has been protected, you will be asked to review your credit card information (see figure 2).

- Click 'yes' if the information on that page is correct.

- Click 'no, swipe again' if the information on that page is wrong.  You will be prompted to swipe your card again.

- Click 'Cancel Swipe' if you would like to cancel this SafeCheckout transaction.  Your card will not be billed if you click 'Cancel Swipe' at any point during the wizard.

Once you click 'yes' on the "Review Credit Card Information" screen, you are ready to advance to the last step and complete your SafeCheckout transaction.
